Successful launch for Life Regimen wellness programme at Armathwaite Hall

A daily life plan for wellness that launched over the summer at a Lake District hotel and spa has had a “real impact on lifestyle change” for members, according to spa director Colin Farndon.

Life Regimen is based on four elements – skin, diet, exercise and rest – and is shaped around Comfort Zone’s skin regimen brand and literature. Three options are available: a membership plan, a day spa, and a three-day retreat programme.

Guests at the Armathwaite Hall Country House Hotel & Spa have responded positively to the programme. “We have had really positive feedback from the initial retreats that we have trialled, but the day spa and membership options have been very successful and members have been referring others to the Life Regimen option,” said Farndon.

“As our membership is currently full, being able to offer a higher rate/higher benefit option is great both for the individual and also the business.”

The spa director also revealed that Armathwaite Hall was arranging additional training so the spa could have more of its therapy team able to offer treatments to meet demand.

Looking at next steps, Farndon said he would continue to work on fine tuning the two-night/three-day Life Regimen retreats ready for full launch in the New Year, while also “developing the resources in the Life Regimen ‘toolkit’ so that guests leave us fully able to make the necessary lifestyle changes to support their health and longevity”.
